My name’s Jamie and I’m an award winning radio presenter/producer.
I’ve spent nearly two decades working in the world of radio…
Currently in my late 20’s, I was born and raised in a little seaside town in South Wales but love to travel around.
The short version of my career so far…
I’ve been a presenter, producer, programme manager, news-reader, sales account manager, voice-over, events host and have spent a lot of time on social media!

29th August 2003 – At the age of 12, I started at Hospital Radio Glamorgan in Cardiff
July 2006 – During school, Work experience led me to GTFM, the first community radio station in Wales
March 2008 – With Radio Glamorgan, I won the stations’ first national award at the National Hospital Radio Awards in Leeds for a charity event I organised in “The Point” in Cardiff Bay
August 2008 – Started at GTFM presenting on a regular basis
November 2008 – Nominated and short-listed for a Leading Wales award, in the category of Young Leader for my fundraising efforts for Radio Glamorgan
July 2008 – March 2009 – First ever voice on Bro Radio
(recorded a pilot show that was used on their test broadcasts before the station officially went live on 31st March 2009)
November 2009 & 2011 – Fronted GTFM’s on air coverage of the inaugural Christmas light switch on event in Pontypridd (Crowd of an estimated 5k people)
July 2012 – Graduated from the University of Glamorgan (Now University of South Wales) with a honours degree in Media Production
October 2012 – Appointed as a regular afternoon travel presenter for 96.4 The Wave and Swansea Sound (& Gold South Wales)
June 2013 – Appointed Programme Controller at Radio Glamorgan
March 2014 – With Radio Glamorgan, helped bring home 3 national awards (2 Golds & 1 silver) at the National Hospital Broadcasting Association Awards
April 2014 – Appointed regular Breakfast travel presenter for 96.4 The Wave & Swansea Sound (& Smooth South Wales)

January 2015 – Shortlisted in the category of “Best Male” at the National Hospital Radio Awards 2015 – Radio Glamorgan also receive five other nominations, including Station of the Year
April 2015 – Regular Drivetime travel presenter for Wireless Group Stations, 96.4FM The Wave and Swansea Sound
October 2015 – Presented my first solo commercial radio show on 96.4FM The Wave
January 2016 – Shortlisted for the second time in the category of “Best Male” at the National Hospital Radio Awards 2016 – Radio Glamorgan also receives six other nominations, including Station of the Year
February 2016 – The Teenage Cancer Trust Takeover on Radio Glamorgan begins
March 2016 – Once again, shortlisted as one of the top five male hospital radio presenters in the UK
Summer 2016 – Regular cover presenter for 96.4FM The Wave – including presenting on the station’s 21st Birthday, Drivetime & Daytime shows.
March 2017 – Radio Glamorgan wins Gold in ‘Station Promotion’ category at the National Hospital Radio Awards 2017. The promotion was scripted and produced by me!
March 2018 – The Teenage Cancer Trust Takeover on Radio Glamorgan wins GOLD at the National Hospital Radio Awards, a ceremony held in Windsor.
November 2018 – Announced as the new Drivetime presenter for 96.4FM The Wave, Monday-Friday 2-7pm. Shortly after I left my duties as a travel presenter for a number of stations.
March 2019 – Appointed Chairman of Radio Glamorgan, heading up 30 volunteers
April 2020 – Another National Award for Radio Glamorgan!
